State Criterium Championships

Congratulations to team Colavita's new Florida State Criterium Champions: Casey Braga and Anselm Teather. Both of these young riders put on great races this weekend, winning with strategy, strength and heads up racing. Casey made a well-timed break from the 13-14 field with six laps to go, never looking back at the chasing pack being held in-check by teammates Christian Teather and Michelle Blake, and won by half a lap. Anselm, Ciara Hopkins (ORC), James Mertens and a Lake PAL rider stayed together until the finish of the 10-12 race where Anselm made the most of heads up racing and out sprinted his opponents just as Casey lapped them, realizing that his finish was RIGHT NOW. Way to go Champs!
