This week at the Orlando Time Trial, out of the 47 riders who attended, 10 of them consisted of Team Colavita. Here are our results from this month's two lap course.

Athens, Miami, and Lake Mary

This past weekend has been very interesting for our junior racers. Team Colavita was spread across the southeast, everyone attending different events: the famous Athens Twilight Criterium in Georgia, Zmotion race weekend in Miami, and Team Armada Time Trial in Lake Mary. All in all, the team came out with some great results wherever they were.

Webster Roubaix

Good Job to everyone who participated in the Webster Roubaix Road Race last weekend. It was an extremely hard course, including a two mile stretch of dirt road, on which the start/finish line was located. There were no junior categories held so some of our Colavita riders chose to race categorys instead. Michelle Blake placed 10th in women 4, and later in the day, Casey Braga and Brandon Forman raced Cat 5 men, finishing 17th and 44th. Can't wait till next year!

Congratulations to James Mertens on his first wins of the year.
Even after saturday's hard racing, Colavita riders Ian McGauvran, Jos Chalmers, Michelle Blake and James Mertens decided to take a few laps around Brian Piccolo Velodrome. It was the first time Ian and James had ever ridden on a track but they both took to it quickly, as well as a few other racers who joined us.

Crazy Sock Night

Team Colavita held it's first ever Crazy Sock night at last Thursday's training ride. The winner was Eddie Braga, with his beautiful striped socks, with Michelle Blake in a close second wearing a mismatched pair of striped and argyle. They were both awarded with sweet treats that were shared among fellow teammates after the ride. Thanks to everyone who brought out their wild socks and wore them proudly on the bike.
